As a member of the Circulation Staff, I’m responsible for processing materials for public use including tagging and cataloging items into a central database that is used statewide. I assist library patrons with opening and maintaining their library accounts, help them request library items from other branches, and help them find whatever library materials or information they may be looking for. I also teach customers about the information resources offered at our library branch and assist them with any computer questions.

The previous library manager retired suddenly and without anyone to manage the branch while the position went into recruitment. I offered to manage the branch until the position could be fulfilled in order to keep the branch open to the public.
